SHARING THE FAITH

YOU can share our Roman Catholic Faith with our children and young adults. Help is needed in:

     - ELEMENTARY RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

       The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is  looking for men and women to help as assistants to our catechists.

       Sessions are held in atriums, which are special  rooms  set up to create an atmosphere of reverence in presenting

       the Roman Catholic Faith to children. We are in need of a number of people to help. Sessions for children

       are scheduled on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays Training and materials are provided. A class will be

       held in the near future for our assistants. The date will be discussed for the best time/date, etc., with  those who

       wish to become part of this spiritually inspiring program.

       - YOUTH MINISTRY

       St. Mary’s Youth Ministry is in need of Confirmation teachers for Middle School (Grades 6-7-8) and High

       School (Grades 9-12) levels. These classes will be held on Sunday mornings after 10:30 AM Mass.

       We are also in need of adult volunteers to assist on our  F+Y+I gathering nights (Tuesday & Wednesdays).

       Materials and training will be provided.

Classes for Elementary Religious Education/Catechesis of the Good Shepherd will begin on September 14^th at St. Mary’s. Be sure to register your child for elementary-level classes before that date!  You may  stop  by the Parish  Center on  weekdays, from 9 AM to 4 PM (Monday through Friday), to register for classes.

THERE  WILL  BE  NO  REGISTRATION  DURING  CLASS TIMES OR ON SUNDAYS  FOR  STUDENTS  IN PRE-K THROUGH GRADE  5.

Please call Grace McNair at 753-3359, or come to the Parish Center to register, as noted above. Some sessions are already filled, so please register as soon as possible! Also, by registering now, we can be sure to have enough materials at the start of classes. Many thanks!!!

              CONFIRMATION     (YOUTH)

             CLASSES BEGINNING SOON

Confirmation (Youth) classes are beginning soon! If you have not yet registered for the coming term of classes for Confirmation, O.C.I.T. and F+Y+I, you  can still do so! You may stop by the Parish Office to register for classes, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM,  on Monday through Friday.

Registrations will also  be taken on the first day of Confirmation class (Sunday, September 17^th) at the Parish Center.

We ask everyone to please register as soon as possible so that we may plan for adequate materials for classes. If there are any  questions, please contact Ron at 753-3359, extension 21.
